Booking Terms, Conditions & Refund Policy

This page explains how bookings, cancellations and refunds work for all paid services offered by Tayyib Lifestyle, trading as “Tayyib Transformational Coaching” (referred to as “Tayyib Transformational Coaching”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By booking or paying for any service through www.tayyib-transformation.com or via our booking system, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.
We are based in Kotu, The Gambia, and these Terms apply to all sessions, assessments, packages and breathwork journeys unless we have a separate written agreement with you that says otherwise.
1. Services Covered
These Terms apply to, including but not limited to:
- Long Assessment Sessions
- Ongoing Coaching Packages (3-month, 6-month, 12-month)
- Individual 1:1 coaching sessions
- Breathwork Journeys (online or in-person)
If another written agreement explicitly overrides any part of these Terms, that specific written agreement will apply for that service.
2. Booking & Payment
- All sessions and packages are booked and paid in advance.
- Booking is complete only when payment is received (or first instalment in a payment plan, where offered).
- Clients receive access to a Client Cabinet (LatePoint) to view and manage upcoming bookings.
- Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout (usually GBP).
3. No-Refund Policy (with legal exceptions)
Coaching and breathwork journeys involve reserving specific time for you. For that reason:
- All sales are final.
- We do not offer refunds on:
– Long assessments
– Single coaching sessions
– 3 / 6 / 12-month packages
– Breathwork Journeys
– Missed, late-cancelled, or unused sessions
The only exceptions are:
- where we are legally required to offer a withdrawal/cooling-off period (see Section 10), or
- where we, at our sole discretion, decide to end a package early (see Section 9).
4. Rescheduling & Cancellation by Client
Notice period: You must reschedule or cancel a session at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Late cancellations & no-shows:
- If you cancel, reschedule, or fail to attend a session with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session is forfeited and counted as used.
- No refund, credit, or make-up session is provided for late cancellations or no-shows.
How to reschedule:
- You can reschedule via your Client Cabinet (LatePoint).
- Requests via WhatsApp, social media or casual messages are not considered official reschedule requests.
5. Lateness
Sessions start at the scheduled time. If you are late, the session will still end at the original end time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the Coach may treat this as a no-show, and the session will be counted as used.
6. Coaching Packages: Scheduling & Expiry
a) Scheduling:
- For 3-, 6- and 12-month packages, we agree on one or more regular days and times for sessions.
- You are responsible for protecting this time as much as reasonably possible.
b) Package start & expiry:
- The package term starts on the date of your first coaching session (not the payment date, unless the first session is the same day).
- Packages must be completed within the following timelines:
– 3-month package: within 4 months from the first session
(3 months + 1 month grace)
– 6-month package: within 7 months from the first session
– 12-month package: within 13 months from the first session - Any sessions not used within these timeframes are forfeited. No refund or extension is given.
c) Pausing a package:
- Packages cannot be paused as standard.
- In exceptional cases (e.g. serious illness, bereavement), a short pause may be granted at the Coach’s discretion. Evidence may be requested.
7. Coach Rescheduling & Emergencies
If the Coach needs to reschedule:
- We will aim to give you at least 24 hours’ notice where reasonably possible.
- You will be offered an alternative date/time that works for both parties.
- If multiple sessions are affected (e.g. illness, family emergency), we will communicate clearly and arrange replacement dates.
If the Coach is unable to continue a specific session due to technical or personal emergency on our side, the session will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
8. Session Format & Location
- Sessions are held online via Zoom or in-person at our office in Kotu, The Gambia (when offered and agreed).
- You are responsible for:
– a stable internet connection (for online sessions)
– a quiet, safe and private environment
If technical problems on your side significantly shorten or prevent the session, it is still considered delivered. If the problem is on our side, we will reschedule.
9. Coach’s Right to End Services Early
The Coach reserves the right to end a session or terminate a package early if:
- There are safety concerns for you or others
- There is ongoing behaviour that is abusive, threatening, or repeatedly disrespectful of boundaries
- The service clearly falls outside the Coach’s scope of practice
- There is repeated non-compliance with these Terms (e.g. chronic no-shows, non-payment, etc.)
Financial handling if the Coach ends the package:
- If we terminate for safety/scope reasons and you have paid for future sessions not yet delivered, we may offer a pro-rata refund for the unused portion, or a credit, at our discretion.
- If we terminate due to your breach of these Terms (e.g. abusive behaviour, repeated no-shows), unused sessions may be forfeited without refund.
10. Cooling-Off / Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK Clients)
Most of our clients are worldwide. However, if you are a consumer in the EU or UK and you purchase online, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period under distance selling regulations.
To keep this simple and honest:
- If you book a session or package and want to exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days, you must contact us via the contact form on our website and clearly state your full name, the service you purchased, and the date of purchase.
Please use the subject line “Booking withdrawal request” in the contact form. - If you have not yet had any sessions, we may cancel the service and issue a refund in line with applicable law.
- If you have already begun using the service (e.g. you had one or more sessions during the 14 days), you may be charged proportionally for the part already delivered. Any remaining amount may be refunded in accordance with applicable law.
- If you book a session to occur within the 14-day period, you explicitly request that service delivery start before the cooling-off period ends and acknowledge that once the service is fully delivered, your withdrawal right is lost.
For all other clients (non-EU/UK), the No-Refund Policy in Section 3 applies fully.
11. Scope of Services & Responsibility
- The services we provide (including coaching, breathwork and any guidance, mentoring or counselling-style support) are educational and supportive in nature.
- They are not psychotherapy, psychiatric care or any form of licensed mental health treatment, and they do not diagnose, treat or cure physical or mental health conditions. We do not provide medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
You agree that:
- You are fully responsible for any decisions, actions or results that arise from working with us.
- You will seek support from an appropriate licensed professional (doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, lawyer, accountant, etc.) where needed.
- You will seek emergency or urgent care through local services if you are in crisis or at risk.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of The Gambia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Gambia, as far as allowed by applicable consumer law.
